The strobing trend seems to be sticking around, but there's still some confusion about what exactly it entails. It's apparent that intense highlighting is involved. Beyond that, however, strobing still leaves some people scratching their heads. In an attempt to clear things up, Desi Perkins shares her explanation of the 'strobing' trend, and shows us her favorite products for getting that coveted glow.

According to Perkins' understanding, strobing involves layering highlighting products on top of each other to create dimension. She begins with cream-based products, which provide the subsequent powder products something to which they can stick. Layering powders over cream also intensifies the glowing effect.
