One of the best things about makeup is that inspiration can come from anywhere. Whether it's a color scheme, a flower, or even an image of someone else's work, there's something satisfying about finding a muse. After one of her viewers tweeted her a photo of this gold glittery look and asked for a tutorial, Desi Perkins decided to make it happen.

Happy to oblige this request, Perkins uses a combination of Makeup Geek, MAC, and Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadows for the diffused edges of the halo. The star of the show, however, is the gold Inglot glitter that she places in the center of the halo eye. The effect is hypnotizing, and complements her highlighted skin perfectly.
